Prospect heights

This Brooklyn garden came with a lot of history, originally owned and lovingly tended to by our client’s mother.

Aiming to repurpose as much as we could while also creating more space for relaxation, we used existing pavers that formerly wrapped around the yard’s perimeter to create the new stone patio. We also preserved the beautiful oak leaf hydrangea and hydrangea paniculata that serve as the wise elders of this young garden.

With the spirit of the original garden in mind, we planted with a lot of color and flowering shrubs. Perennials with blended hues of whites, pinks and purples bloom throughout the year, supported by a backdrop of textured evergreens.

Two years on, it’s really grown in with a few edits along the way:: less geranium, more meadow rue! Thank you to our amazing clients for trusting us throughout the process.
