BED-STUY ROOF GARDEN

This shared rooftop garden in Bed-Stuy features a twenty five foot long custom planter filled with grasses and perennials that flower throughout the seasons.

In autumn, the amsonia turns a radiant golden yellow and sways alongside the billowing pink plumes of Muhlenbergia capillaris. Black seed heads of echinacea punctuate this feathery blend, providing food to goldfinches, blue jays and cardinals throughout the winter.
